What is an arb?
An arbitrage ("arb" / "surebet") happens when two or more bookmakers disagree on the price of the same match so much that you can back every outcome across them and make a profit whatever happens.

Simple example (2-way market)
Over/Under 2.5 goals in the same match:
  • Bookie A: Over 2.5 @ 2.10
  • Bookie B: Under 2.5 @ 2.05
Check: 1/2.10 + 1/2.05 = 0.476 + 0.488 = 0.964. Anything below 1.000 is an arb. Here the margin is about 3.7%.

With ₦10,000 total, stake proportionally:
  • Over @ 2.10 → ₦4,940 → returns ₦10,374
  • Under @ 2.05 → ₦5,060 → returns ₦10,373
Whatever the score, you get back ~₦10,370 — about ₦370 profit.

How to do it with Betsnipper
  • Open the Dashboard → Arbitrage tab. Opportunities are sorted by profit %.
  • Click Stakes on a row and enter your total stake — it splits it for you.
  • Open both bookmakers, find the exact same match and market, and check the odds are still there.
  • Place the leg marked "bet first" (the price most likely to move) first, then the other leg immediately.

Golden rules
  • Same match, same market, same line, same period (full time vs 1st half matters!).
  • Check each bookmaker's rules for that market (e.g. does "Over/Under" include extra time?).
  • Odds move fast — if one leg's odds drop before you place the second, recalculate before placing.
  • Start small until you're comfortable with the process.
